Through The Grapevine: Melissa, Melissa

Jan 12, 2011
I'm a YA girl through and through, but I can't help but lust over two upcoming adult titles by Melissa Marr and Melissa de la Cruz. Who both have had great success with their YA series, Wicked Lovely and Blue Bloods.
Graveminder by Melissa Marr which will be released May 17th of this year, tells the story of a young woman, Rebekkah Barrow, who discovers that her dead grandmothers odd traditions were more than just odd. In the small town of  Claysvile the dead will rise if their graves aren't properly minded.

Although it isn't your average zombie tale, I think Graveminder will be a very well written, chilling adventure.

Witches of East End by Blue Bloods author Melissa de la Cruz is set to be released June 21st of this year. The first novel of a two book series follows the Beauchamp girls on their quest to restore the balance between good and evil, and stop their arch nemesis once and for all.

Witches of East End is definitely another promising series for adult paranormal junkies who have a taste for witches.

Honestly, other than the fact that these two novels have great premises, what really attracted me to therm were their stunning covers, as always. I am very excited to read some reviews on both of them since both Melissa and Melissa have proven that they can hold their own weight in the fantasy and paranormal genre.

Have you heard about these novels? Are they on your wishlist? Let me know your thoughts.
